i was born in dudley, england,if you're a clueless northerner or southerner thats the black country. for everyone else thats like where tolkien got all that shire imagery and also all the horrific black smoke imagery (why do you think its called the black country?) from and about 30 minutes away from the place where peaky blinders is set, and for americans, thats in europe, i didnt spend most of my early life in the black country, i spent most of it in a town just outside (yeah im not gonna say where i actually live), but its a pretty great town and---
holy shit, sorry but i have to break for a second, my water bottle keeps making these really high pitched squeaking noises and its making me feel crazy, and i just picked up my bottle and put it to my ear like a phone because i thought i heard something. i look insane (okay resume)
it's got lots of natural beauty (yes england has that), i started playing guitar at 13, played in silly bands with my friends, and i now play in a serious band with my friends (its called blunder, i don't want to self plug too hard but you are on my personal website so maybe you don't mind)
also im bisexual (?) currently being a fag with my boyfriend fawn.
Anything obscure, in regular listening, i like mostly alternative rock, kinda from the 80s to the now, liam lynch, harvey danger, black box recorder, Beck obvious ones like pixies and car seat headrest, pavement.
also i listen to some british and american folk music, i think very interesting stuff, if you can avoid the occassional fascist
electronic music is another huge one for me, if you have listened to my music, (you have its playing right now) you know that, my main inspirations are stuff like broadcast and pram, which you can read about in my "genre obscura" page!
but i also love psy-trance, breakbeat, IDM and early dub-step
i love hardcore music of any kind, insane techno, breakcore, gabber, sludge-death-grind-slam-break-power-stoner-violencecore and all alternative metals, super expermental stuff like bull of heaven and korean nu-nu metal.
shoegaze also holds me dearly, however i must admit my knowledge on shoegaze artists and music is limited, i like artists like MBV, drop-nineteens, Swirlies, and some newer acts like julie and whirr (also fleshwater)
Punk, post punk and all forms of fast loud music that makes me angry at the right people
black flag, fugazi, dead kennedys, the chats
thats about it for music, but there will always be more to discover and love!
mostly i am a bird guy, i like jackdaws, a common bird where i come from but none the less a handsome bird, magpies, song thrushes, and starlings!
I like foxes, badgers and i think hedgehogs are so so underrated
